Registration and Fees
TMEC is free. Scholars across fields and interested parties in the public and nonprofit sectors may apply to attend by submitting this form. As space is limited, a place is not guaranteed.
Presenting is by invitation only, due to time constraints in organizing the event. In future years, we plan to solicit open submissions.
Schedule
The conference will begin at 2pm on Friday, June 20, at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), half an hour from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).
The conference will end at 1:10pm on Sunday, June 22, at the University of Toronto St. George (the downtown campus), followed by a lunch.

We are offering a bag check service, so that you are able to fly in to YYZ and go straight to the conference without checking in at your hotel.
Transportation
The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) campus is close to Pearson International Airport. This is where the first day of the event will take place in the afternoon.
Transport will be available by coach on the evening of June 20 from UTM to the downtown campus of the University of Toronto and the Kimpton St. George hotel.
Transport from the downtown campus to Pearson International Airport is available by the Toronto subway, the TTC. Take Line 1 from St. George Station to Union Station, then take the Union-Pearson Express (UP) to Pearson International Airport.
Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport is closer to the downtown campus and is accessible by a 10 minute taxi or rideshare ride.
Travel and Accommodation
We recommend and are able to arrange accommodation at the Kimpton St. George Hotel. It is located on the downtown campus.
We will provide a luggage check so that visitors can go straight from Pearson International Airport to the UTM campus on June 20, then check in to the Kimpton on the evening of the 20th.
If the Kimpton St. George is full, we recommend the Yorkville Royal Sonesta. We can assist with either booking, or you may also make the booking by contacting the hotel directly.Â
